Sponsorship Benefits

Benefits extended to all supporters of The Evening for Guitar and Strings include the following: RECOGNITION IN EVENT PROGRAM A 32-page 8 ½” x 11” commemorative program will be distributed at the event. Supporters will be listed by order of contribution levels. ADVERTISING SPACE IN EVENT PROGRAM Supporters may run 4-color advertising space in sizes from full page to ¼ page. RECOGNITION ON STRING LETTER PUBLISHING WEBSITES Supporters will be cited in pre-event promotions and follow-up recognition messages on the websites of Acoustic Guitar, Strings, Play Guitar!, and Guitar Teacher. CONCERT SEATS 7:30 to 10:00, Herbst Theater, San Francisco. All supporter seats are located in boxes or the orchestra section of this historic concert venue, in blocks of 2, 4, or 8 seats, according to level of support. Further benefits for supporters at the Sponsor level and higher: PRE-CONCERT DINNER RECEPTION 5:30 to 7:15, Green Room, adjacent to Herbst Theater. Supporters are invited to attend the pre-concert dinner in blocks of 2, 4, or 8 seats, according to level of support. Further benefits for supporters at the Benefactor level and higher: RECOGNITION IN SLP PRE-EVENT ADVERTISING Beginning with issues dated December 2005, pre-concert advertising in Acoustic Guitar, Strings, and Play Guitar! will acknowledge supporters of the event. RECOGNITION IN SLP POST-EVENT ADVERTISING Post-concert advertising of Acoustic Guitar, Strings, and Play Guitar! will recognize supporters of the event. Further benefits for supporters at the Partner level and higher: RECOGNITION IN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA CONCERT ADS Approximately 50% of concert tickets will be sold to the public, and the Evening will be advertised in San Francisco newspapers; supporters will be recognized in these ads. POST-CONCERT “MEET THE ARTISTS” RECEPTION PASSES Supporters will be SLP’s guests for a private reception in a venue near the theater. Further benefit for supporters at the Patron level only: CREDIT AS CO-COMMISSIONER OF NEW CONCERTO Alex de Grassi and Jeremy Cohen are composing the new concerto for steel-string guitar, string quartet, and orchestra. The process will include a composer-in-residency program at San Domenico School, the premiere of the work, publication of the work, and active promotion of the work for future performance by school and professional orchestras. Participants will receive co-credit along with String Letter Publishing in all aspects of the composition.
